What Can You Do More With Your Promoters?
Promoters are loyal enthusiasts of your brand. This gives your company an NPS score of 9 or 10. This means they are "very" or "extremely" likely to recommend your brand to a friend or family member. Brand promoters can amplify your company's strengths, generate referrals, educate new users, and even guide your product roadmap. With that in mind, we've created ten ways you and your team can do more to expand your brand's reach with promoters.
1. Contact the promoter
Loyal customers like to be recognized. Small businesses may have the capacity to build personal, face-to-face relationships with customers (think about your favorite local restaurant; you might know most of the employees!) while companies are growing, and large corporations can use digital capabilities. Be present to give the promoter personal notes from managers or other relevant team members.
2. Give promoters a way to promote your brand.
Before the Internet, customer testimonials came in the form of testimonials used in advertisements, newspaper reviews, and, most importantly, word of mouth.
There are more places where planners can share their ideas with others.
Customer testimonials now come in many forms, including online forums, product websites, and market reviews. This is a place where companies invite promoters to share their feelings about the brand.
Turn happy customers into brand ambassadors by running an automated customer referral program like Friendbuy. Delighted's Friendbuy integration allows each time a new referrer is identified to share their referral code with their network.
Share a prescribed social copy with your promoters so they can easily post to their social channels. Please encourage them to follow and track engagement by providing a link to your tracking mechanism. If you can follow up on your referrals on their behalf, offer them a discount or other reward on their next purchase.
3. Get feedback on new products from promoters.
Often, promoters will be the first to buy and try the newest products. As interest in your brand grows, promoters can provide you with valuable and detailed information about whether you would like a new product. Collecting feedback from promoters when launching a new product not only helps you create a better product but also helps you gain loyal customers. E-commerce clients give promoters early access to new products, usually items that will be more widely announced in the near future. Doing so is beneficial for two reasons:
- Promoters like to be the first to try new products.
- You can test your product before the official release and work out bugs before the product is released to the public.
- Active social media promoters can create buzz about a new product and increase demand for the launch.
- Give backers exclusive access to beta features
Promoters are the perfect audience to test a new product or feature. As mentioned above, promoters are often willing to help shape their chosen brand's offerings. In addition, promoters often provide rich and engaging feedback and constructive criticism based on their intuitive and existing knowledge of the business.
6. Request a review from the promoter.
Politely asking review promoters can significantly increase the number and quality of reviews. But only ask for feedback sometimes.
